• Stride Services & Transactional Emails: Account management, schedules, and service updates (Basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR – contract performance). Providing an email is mandatory.
• Direct Marketing & Newsletter: Sending promotional emails, news, and special offers (Basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR – your explicit consent).
• Website Operation: Display and security (Basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR – legitimate interest).
• Payments: Stripe Pro subscriptions (Basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• AI Features: Summaries (Basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR – consent via feature use).
• Legal Obligations: Tax record-keeping (Basis: Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

3. Collected Data

• App Users: Email, display name, study data, payment IDs, AI text, marketing communication preferences.
• Website Visitors: Technical server log data (IP address, timestamps).

4. Data Recipients & Transfers

Providers: Supabase, Stripe, Groq/OpenAI, Vercel (based in the USA). Secured via the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses.

5. Retention

Account data is kept until deletion. Marketing data is kept until consent is withdrawn or objected to. Billing records are retained for 7 years.

Right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, data portability, and object to direct marketing at any time. You can withdraw your marketing consent anytime (e.g., via the unsubscribe link in any email).
